Police believe that the same group of people burglarized close to 20 pharmacies in the last few months, across Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
In almost every incident, police say the suspects either smash the glass door with a hammer or a crowbar or break the metal gate. Once inside, they steal a number of prescription medication, before getting away in a car.
Police say the suspects targeted 14 pharmacies in October alone, sometimes as many as three in a single night.
The NYPD is asking anyone with any information that could help identify those suspects, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-88-577-TIPS.
