Police: 25-year-old shot in front of the Tompkins Houses in Bed-Stuy

It was a busy night for police across the city, including in Bed-Stuy where a person was shot.
Police were called to the scene around 1:45 a.m. after getting calls that a man had been shot in front of the Tompkins Houses near Tompkins and Myrtle avenues.
Arriving officers say they found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his leg and arm. He was taken to the hospital where he is expected to survive.
Police say he told them a man walked up to him and just started shooting.
Police say they are searching for the gunman and a motive.
