A 27-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in Soundview on Wednesday, according to police.
Officials say the shooting happened just before 8:25 p.m. in the area of E 174 Street and Bronx River Avenue.
The man was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
