Police say a 32-year-old man was fatally shot in the back in Morris Heights overnight Saturday.

They say the shooting happened at 3 a.m. Officers received a call that a man was shot in front of 55 Richman Plaza.

When they arrived, officers found the man unconscious with a gunshot wound to his back. EMS transported him to Lincoln Hospital where he died.

Police say no arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
