An early morning shooting in Claremont left one person dead and police searching for two suspects.
The shooting took place on East 169th Street and Boston Road around 1 a.m. Friday. Responding officers found a 32-year-old man bleeding from a gunshot wound to his back.
The man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he died from his injuries.
Police say they their two suspects were last seen running westbound toward Boston Road.
A Crime Stoppers van was stationed for hours at the scene to encourage residents to call in with tips. So far, no arrests have been made.
NYPD detectives were seen trying to retrieve surveillance video from a nearby grocery store after the shooting.
