Police have arrested a man accused of attempting to kidnap an 8-year-old boy in the Bronx.

The suspect has been identified as Luis Toledo, 36, from Fordham.

Police say the incident happened last Tuesday around 9 p.m.

News 12 is told a 35-year-old woman and her son were walking downstairs inside the Fordham Road Station when the suspect allegedly attempted to grab the boy.

Police say the woman began to scream and the suspect fled the station.
