The NYPD says that four men were shot in Greenpoint on Friday night.  

The incident took place outside of 223 Russell St. just after 8:30 p.m. All four victims were transported to local area hospitals and are likely to survive, according to officials.  

Dozens of officers appeared on scene and were last seen investigating several motorcycles.  

Locals told News 12 that this is where many film studios and business storage garages are located, and one eyewitness says a lot of motorcycle clubs also ride around the area. 

“You could tell these were gunshots,” said the eyewitness. “I heard gunshots. They were rapid… I heard one shot, pause, and the rest.” 

The NYPD has no information on the suspect available at this time.
