Multiple people were shot in Brooklyn Monday all within one hour in Canarsie, according to police.
In a tweet, Chief Maddrey said the Rapid Response Team is talking to Canarsie residents who are concerned.
Police say one of the victims is a 23-year-old woman who was shot in the chest four times on 1571 Remsen Ave. They say she was transported to Brookdale Hospital.
Ten minutes later, police say three other people were shot at 2105 Rockaway Parkway. Those three victims were also transported to Brookdale Hospital.
Two minutes after the incident on Rockaway Parkway, police say a man accompanied by a female on a scooter was shot in the back on Flatlands 4th and 108.
Detectives and officers were seen taking notes on the scene at the Bayview Houses. The area was blocked off with crime scene tape and markers showed where bullets were found.
There is no word on the extent of the injuries or the identity of the victims.
