Police say a 61-year-old woman is dead following a shooting in the Bronx Monday night. 

They say the woman was not the intended target. 

Police say she suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

They say she was shot during a dispute between two separate groups. 

The incident is under investigation, according to police.
