A man was shot and injured following a car crash in the Bronx Tuesday night.
Police say a 62-year-old man was shot in the knee in Wakefield after he was involved in a car crash around 11 p.m.
They say the crash happened in the middle of a crosswalk on East 233rd Street and Carpenter Avenue.
It is unclear if the victim was driving the vehicle when it crashed or why he was targeted.
News 12 is told the victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
The gunman remains at large.
