say a 68-year-old woman has been arrested and is accused of driving
drunk, crashing into another car and then taking off before crashing
into a tree.
The incident happened on Tuesday in Hampton Bays.
Southampton Town police say
Nancy Johnson was driving near Flanders Road and Red Creek Road when
she first hit another car. Police say Johnson then took off and that's
when she crashed into a tree.
Johnson is now charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, among other charges.
