Police: 7 injured after driver plows through crowd in Midtown Manhattan

They say just before midnight, a 29-year-old woman driving a Honda ran a red light and struck pedestrians at the crosswalk on West 36th Street.

Police say seven people were injured after a driver plowed into a crowd in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday.
They say just before midnight, a 29-year-old woman driving a Honda ran a red light and struck pedestrians at the crosswalk on West 36th Street.
Then, 30 minutes later, she crashed into two cars outside of the Queens-Midtown Tunnel.
No injuries were reported in the later crash.
The woman was taken into custody. No charges have been announced.
