Police: 74-year-old Catholic deacon punched at Bronx subway station

Police say a Catholic deacon was assaulted at the Kingsbridge Road D Subway Station in the Bronx on Tuesday.

Police say a Catholic deacon was assaulted at the Kingsbridge Road D Subway Station in the Bronx on Tuesday.
They say the 74-year-old deacon was trying to swipe his MetroCard when a man exiting through the turnstiles punched him.
Officers say the victim was treated at a hospital for neck pain.
The incident was caught on camera. Police ask anyone who may recognize the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
