Police sy a 95-year-old man was struck and killed while trying to cross Grand Street in Brooklyn last Thursday.
They say James Wise, of Asbury Park, New Jersey, was crossing around 5:15 a.m. when he was hit by a car.
Officers found Wise with head trauma. EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst where he was pronounced dead.
The 55-year-old driver remained at the scene.
