Police: Argument over fireworks turns violent in Mott Haven

According to police, two men were stabbed and three were slashed outside St. Mary’s Park in the Bronx.

Police say a dispute over fireworks left five men in the hospital recovering from wounds caused by a knife attack. 
According to police, one of those men, a 24-year-old, is in custody after the group was brought to the hospital.
Authorities believe the argument turned violent when one of the men took out a knife and started attacking.
Police say a 21-year-old suffered a stab wound to the chest and a 24-year-old was stabbed in the back. A 19-year-old was also slashed across the right arm and a 22-year-old was slashed in the right hand.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. outside of St. Mary's Park near Saint Mary's Street.
Police told News 12 that all of the victims are expected to be OK.
