Police arrest Brooklyn woman accused of punching 2-year-old on C train
A woman accused of striking a 2-year-old boy last weekend on a northbound C train has been arrested.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Police say Elizabeth Galarza hit the child multiple times in the face and ran off the train at the 116th Street station.
Police say the victim sustained redness to the face and was transported by EMS to Mt. Sinai St Luke's Hospital for treatment.

In the original release, police said that a 21-year-old mother told them that a dispute on the train between her and an unknown female escalated into a physical altercation.
