An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting near a school in Concourse Village on Friday.

News 12 obtained exclusive video showing an altercation that occurred before the incident. Police believe the gunman, identified as 41-year-old Frankie Poventud, began arguing with the driver of a white van. They say that after a short chase, Poventud shot the 37-year-old man in the stomach.

The shooting sent the nearby school into a lockdown.

Poventud faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and assault.
