man in connection to a possible hate crime in Harlem.
Jarrod Powell was arrested and charged Tuesday at around 2:45 a.m. in
connection to the brutal assault of a 61-year-old Asian man.
Police say the victim was struck from behind and left on the ground on the
corner of East 125th Street and 3rd Avenue.
Powell then allegedly kicked and stomped on the victim’s head.
Powell is facing two counts of felony assault.
