Police: Bicyclist struck and killed by vehicle in the Bronx

The cyclist was struck by the dark-colored vehicle at the Tiffany and Barry streets intersection around 5:30 a.m., according to authorities.

A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in the Bronx, police say.
The cyclist was struck by the dark-colored vehicle at the Tiffany and Barry streets intersection around 5:30 a.m., according to authorities.
Officers arriving at the scene found the victim unresponsive next to his bike. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver did not stay at the scene. No other information was given on the suspected driver.
