Officers responded to 706 Hinsdale St. after a 911 call about an unconscious man at approximately 11:15 on Wednesday morning. Investigators say the man was found lying face down on his bed unconscious and unresponsive.
The man, identified as 53-year-old James Hudley, of Brooklyn, had trauma to his head.
Residents say this is a relatively quiet neighborhood, and that an incident like this is out of character.

Officers are currently looking to speak with Hudley's roommate, as neighbors report that they heard arguing from the apartment prior to officers arriving at the scene.
