Supporting heroes on the front lines is crucial, and the men and women in blue are doing all they can to support everyone working to save lives.
On Monday, dozens of police officers delivered meals to health workers at Montefiore Medical Center.
A bitter sweet exchange of words as members of the police and Lieutenants Benevolent Association joined forces to deliver hundreds of sandwiches and snacks to health care workers at Montefiore.
As hospitals continue to face a growing number of COVID-19 cases, health workers deal with the reality that their lives have changed for the long run.
The police’s small gesture of bringing food is one that goes a long way for nurses like Andrea Jones.
