A driver lost control and slammed into a McDonald’s in Williamsburg, according to police.

Witnesses say a white BMW crashed into the side wall of the fast-food chain on Thornton Street and Broadway, sounding like an explosion.

Frank Soto, who was inside at the time, said he was waiting for his order when he heard a loud “boom.”

"There were a couple of guys doing delivery there, if they were there by the time the car came.. forget it, it would've killed them," said Frank Soto.

Police say a 49-year-old woman lost control while turning onto Thornton Street. Her husband later told News 12 it was an accident.

The McDonald’s has since reopened.
