Police: Father, mother charged after 3-month-old baby found dead alongside Major Deegan Expressway

Damion Comager faces charges for murder, manslaughter and concealment of a human corpse.

Police say a father and mother were arrested after their 3-month-old daughter was found dead alongside the Major Deegan Expressway Sunday night.
Damion Comager, 23, faces charges for murder, manslaughter and concealment of a human corpse.
Ivana Paolozzi, 20, faces charges for concealment of a human corpse and obstructing governmental administration.
Police say the investigation started when a family member called for a wellness check on the parent's 3-month-old daughter, Genevieve.
News 12 was told that the baby’s parents told police that her body could be found in the wooded area near West 161st Street and the Deegan. 
The baby was dead when authorities arrived. 
The family was living at 1041 University Ave., a transitional housing unit owned by Volunteers of America, Greater New York.
There is no word yet on how the baby died.
