Two men and one woman were taken into custody Saturday morning following a violent assault in Kingsbridge Heights, according to the NYPD.

A 911 call came in at 7:23 a.m. for a reported dispute between people who knew each other at 2667 Kingsbridge Terr., according to police.

Authorities say that all three people were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical.

A witness told 911 that one of the men went to a car to retrieve a metal pipe and hit the other man in the head with the pipe.

NYPD later towed the car.

The victim suffered a laceration to his head.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
