Police say they found a decomposing body last month inside a Highbridge apartment.

They say officers arrived at 1146 Ogden Ave. after they received calls of a foul odor coming from one of the apartments.

Inside, officers found the body on the floor with a plastic bag over its head.

The medical examiner is investigating to determine the exact cause of death.
