Police have identified a 29-year-old woman found dead inside of her Bronx apartment.
Investigators say a friend discovered the body of Carmela Wallace inside of her sixth-floor Morris House apartment at 1480 Washington Ave. around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say she was found naked by two friends and appeared to have trauma to her face.  She was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Neighbors tell News 12 Wallace’s family moved into the building only four months ago, and loud noises and shouting could often be heard coming from inside.
Her boyfriend says police questioned him Tuesday but he was later cleared by police.
He says Wallace leaves behind three kids.
A medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
Police say no arrests have been made.
