A Huntington woman is facing charges in an incident and altercation with police Saturday evening at Harbes Farmstand and Vineyard in Mattituck.

Police say 55-year-old Inguna Brigandi, of Huntington, kicked two police officers, tried to grab one of the officer's holstered Taser and bit his arm.

Police say she was "highly intoxicated" and causing a disturbance at the Sound Avenue business before officers were called.

Brigandi was released on an appearance ticket for a future court date.
