One man is injured and another man is in custody following a police-involved shooting in Brooklyn Monday.
Police say they received a call about a man with a gun around 5:45 p.m.
They say officers arriving at the scene observed a man holding a gun in front of 125 Lenox Rd., but that person did not match the description of the 911 call. However, police say he did have a gun and was arrested.
Police say another man approached police yelling, “He's coming, he’s going to blast me.”
Officers say they told the man to back up and that the yelling man matched the description of the suspect.
Police say the man rushed toward officers, unarmed but making actions as if he was hiding a gun.
As a result, one of the officers fired two shots and shot the man in the leg. He was then rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.
Police say he is in stable condition.
