A man is accused of stealing cellphones from at least seven passengers on the L train in Brooklyn, police say.
The incidents all happened on the L train and go as far back as February and as recently as April.
Police say in all cases the suspect used a sharp object to cut open a passenger’s pants pocket with a sharp object in order to extract their cellphones, wallets and sometimes credit cards.
The suspect is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, and was last seen wearing a light blue button-up shirt, black New York hat, blue jeans and black sneakers.
