A man was fatally struck by a car on the Bronx River Parkway early Sunday, police say.
Police tell News 12 it happened around 4 a.m. near Exit 3, which leads up to Westchester Avenue in the Soundview section of the Bronx.
Officials say the vehicle was driving southbound when it hit a man who was walking in the road.
News 12 is told the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene until police arrived.
News 12 is told they found the pedestrian on the roadway, where he was pronounced dead.
News 12 is told there are no arrests or charges filed with the driver.
