Police say a 13-year-old girl was forced to perform oral sex on a man in his 20s.
The attack happened just before 2:30 p.m. near Intervale Avenue and Jennings Streets in Crotona Park East, according to authorities.
Investigators say the suspect followed the girl into her building and into the elevator when he started talking with her. He allegedly continued following her inside her apartment and attacked her.
Police say the man also took items from the apartment before fleeing.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital.
