Police: Man exposed himself to woman in Crotona Park
Investigators say a 39-year-old woman was sitting inside of Crotona Park when the suspect approached her and exposed himself, trying to force her to perform a sexual act on him.

Police say they are looking for a suspect who indecently exposed himself to a woman in Crotona Park.
They say a 39-year-old woman was sitting inside of Crotona Park at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 18. Police say the suspect approached her to have a conversation. The suspect then left and returned while exposing himself, trying to force her to perform a sexual act on him.
The victim luckily was able to get away and was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital.
"I wouldn't advise you to walk past nine, ten o'clock," said resident Lisa about the Crotona Park area. "It's really dark over here, there's no lights... it's just not good."
Police say the suspect fled the park and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, sweatpants and black sandals.
