Police are searching for whoever was responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning in Edenwald.

Police say a man in his 60s was struck outside the Kaesar Gourmet Deli at 3919 Baychester Ave. around 2 a.m.

EMS responded to the victim who was suffering from leg injuries. He was pronounced dead at New York Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.

Police were at the deli on Saturday to look through surveillance video.

Anyone who has information about the incident is being urged to call police.
