A Bronx man allegedly pushed his girlfriend off of the roof of a four-story apartment building on Franklin Avenue Sunday, according to police.
Sources say James Ellis, the 24-year-old suspect, lives at 1142 Franklin Ave., the same building from which he allegedly pushed Tyshay Culber during an argument.
According to the criminal complaint, Culber began crying. Ellis allegedly ordered her to stop and struck her in the face.
As the argument escalated, Ellis allegedly held her over the ledge of the building.
According to the complaint, he said something to the effect of "Babe, I can't hold on anymore," and let go of Culber's arms. She fell four stories, lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital.
Police arrested Ellis and charged him with multiple charges including attempted murder.
