An 8-year-old girl was sexually assaulted while walking with her mother inside a Bronx subway station, police say.
It happened on August 2 at the East 149th Street subway station on the Grand Concourse around 7:30 p.m.
According to police, the suspect approached the girl and her 39-year-old mother as they walked up the stairs.
Police say the suspect grabbed the 8-year-old girl's rear twice before apologizing and then running away.
Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect who is believed to be 30 years old, between 5'6'' to 5'8'' tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds.
He has straight black hair, facial hair and was last seen wearing black-framed glasses, a blue Yankees T-shirt and black jeans.
