A man is wanted for shooting a man in the buttocks during an attempted robbery that started in an Edenwald bodega on Sunday.

Police say the suspect pulled out a gun and approached another man inside the bodega on Baychester Avenue around 10 a.m. and demanded his property.

The victim resisted and began to fight with the suspect before he was able to leave the bodega and run off, but not before the suspect chased him and shot at him one time, when the victim was struck in the backside.

Emergency responders took the victim to Jacobi hospital in stable condition. No property was stolen from the victim during this incident.
