A person was shot early this morning in Claremont, according to police.
Police say it happened on the corner of Wilkins Avenue and Boston Road around 3 a.m.
They say a man was shot in the back by another man. When first responders arrived on the scene they rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital. The victim's condition is unknown.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
