Man stabbed in the chest during fight in Mount Hope

Authorities say a man is recovering in the hospital after getting shot Sunday night in the Bronx.

According to police, a 21-year-old man was shot in the stomach and his behind outside of East 143rd Street by an unknown suspect.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he is in stable condition.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to contact the NYPD.
