Police are searching for the person responsible for attacking a man inside a bodega in Morrisania.

Investigators say it is unclear what led up to the attack, but that the victim ended up in the hospital with a slash wound across the neck.

The incident happened on Feb. 12 around 1:30 a.m. inside 621 East 169 St.

Investigators tell News 12 that the victim, a 50-year-old man, got into some sort of argument with another man. The man then pulled out a sharp object and slashed the victim across the neck before running off.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
