Police: Man slashed after heated argument with another man on subway in Mott Haven

A suspect is on the losing following a subway slashing Thursday night in Mott Haven, according to the NYPD.

A suspect is on the losing following a subway slashing Thursday night in Mott Haven, according to the NYPD.

Police say a 25-year-old man was on the northbound 5 train approaching East 138 Street and Grand Concourse when he got into an argument with a man. When the argument escalated, the suspect slashed the victim in the right hand with a sharp object.

The victim was taken Lincoln Hospital and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
