Police say they arrested a man who smashed multiple windows on an MTA bus in Brooklyn.

News 12 is told the incident happened early Friday near Hendrix Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Investigators have identified the suspect as Laquarn Johnson.

He is facing criminal mischief and disorderly conduct charges.

The MTA released a statement on the incident reading in part: “We’ve said repeatedly that the city needs to meet its obligation to assure safety and security in transit and provide mental health services to those who need them.”
