Police: Man wanted for striking MTA conductor with glass bottle

The NYPD is searching for a suspect who approached an MTA conductor and struck her with a glass bottle in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident took place at the East 167th Street subway station on the 4 line at around 12 p.m.

An unknown male was on the southbound platform and approached the 38-year-old female conductor in her cabin, striking her with the glass bottle in the head before fleeing the station.

The victim is expected to be OK. No arrests have been made at this time.
