The NYPD has released photos of two of the suspects wanted in connection to a subway shooting that left one person dead and injured five others just after 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Six people were shot while waiting for the 4 train on the northbound platform at Mount Eden Station.
A 35-year-old man identified as Obed Beltran-Sanchez was killed after being shot in the chest.
The victim's range in age from 14 to 71 years old.
Police say they believe the shooting was gang-related.
According to investigators, one group got on the uptown 4 train at 125th Street in Manhattan, while the other boarded the train at 161st Street in the Bronx.
The two groups got into a verbal dispute while on the train. One shot was fired inside the subway car, as it pulled into the station and the gunfire spilled out onto the platform.
At least 19 shell casings were found scattered between the subway car, the platform and the street.
"If you can imagine the chaotic scene, you have a crowded train, pulling onto a crowded platform, one shot being fired, now everybody is trying to scramble to get off the platform," NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.
The suspects ran north on Jerome Avenue toward Featherbed Lane.
Police said they have identified one person of interest and are working to identify the other two suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800-577-TIPS.
