Police say two men were arrested in the separate deaths of two 48-year-old men that happened Saturday night in The Bronx.

Authorities say 37-year-old Anthony Mawuena was arrested and charged after a man was found dead at 1851 Phelan Pl. in Morris Heights

Officers who responded to Phelan Place around 9 p.m. discovered the man with injuries to his head and body.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.

In a separate case, NYPD detectives say 33-year-old Tyquan McBride was arrested and charged in the death of the other 48-year-old man at 341 East 162nd St. in Concourse Village.

Officers responding to East 162nd Street hours later after the death in Morris Heights discovered the victim with stab wounds to the neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
