Police have released pictures of a group of people they say beat up two men in Melrose.
According to police, one of them used a lock and chain as a weapon.
Police say the assault happened on Aug. 24 in front of a Mexican bar and restaurant on East 153rd Street.
Police say the victims, who are 22- and 33-years old, were approached by the group who demanded money. When the victims refused, they were beaten up.
News 12 has been told a lock and chain was use to hit the 33-year-old on the head.An iPhone and cash were taken from the victims.
