Police release video of suspects wanted for robbery pattern in the Bronx
The NYPD has released new video of three men they say are behind a robbery pattern in the borough.
Police say the suspects walked into L The Jeweler on Fordham Road on Jan. 30. One suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and fired one round into the floor before taking a watch and fleeing in a gray sedan.
Police believe they are the same men connected to a robbery at an AT&T store in Westchester Square that happened on Jan. 21. Two of the three robbers held an employee at gunpoint and ordered him to go into the back of the store.
They ran out with four cellphones and $500 in that incident.
Residents say people have to be on alert because the area isn't always safe.
"It's not the cutest neighborhood obviously, but you have to watch out," says Ragie Moral, of Fordham.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.
