Police: Baby inside stolen car reported in Brooklyn found safe, suspect facing a slew of charges

Police say the child’s mother was loading up the car in the parking lot of the shopping center when the suspect carjacked the vehicle and drove away with the baby inside.

Police responded to a report of a stolen car with a baby inside near 30th Street and Third Avenue in Brooklyn on Friday. 
Police say the report came in around 3:40 p.m. The incident happened in a shopping center next to Industry City, according to police.
Police say the child’s mother was loading up the car in the parking lot of the shopping center when the suspect carjacked the vehicle and drove away with the baby inside.
The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Tyler Hall, was found a few miles away after a massive police search.
Police say Hall is facing a slew of charges. Hall has been charged with two counts of robbery, grand larceny, two counts of vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful imprisonment and acting in a manner injurious to a child. 
The 2-year-old child was reunited with her family on Friday. 
Police say they are questioning the suspect in custody at this time.
