Police are searching for the men accused of firing a stray bullet that struck a 75-year-old woman in the Bronx.
It happened Friday on Union Avenue and East 165th Street in Morrisania around 7:45 p.m.
Police say two rival groups of men began firing at one another when the 75-year-old woman was caught in the crossfire. According to police, the woman who lives in a building close to where she was shot is not believed to have been the intended target. She was struck in the thigh.
They say she was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is expected to be OK.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the men they say ran into a nearby building after the woman was shot.
