A suspect wanted for assaulting two people in University Heights on Friday night has been arrested.
Police say 29-year-old Xavier Rodriguez approached a 49-year-old man from behind on University Avenue and knocked him to the ground in an
unprovoked attack at around 8 p.m.
Police say he went on to slash a 52-year-old woman on her forehead just moments later. Both victims are expected to be OK.
Rodriguez has been charged with assault, according to authorities.
