yesterdayA suspect is wanted for shooting and killing a 26-year-old man Thursday in Kingsbridge Heights.
Police say the suspect shot Hasan Richburg multiple times in the torso in front of 131 West Kingsbridge Road just before 11 a.m. The suspect then fled the scene.
Officers found Richburg outside of the Caridad Restaurant.
Surveillance footage of the incident shows the moments before officers arrived.
Police say the man seen wearing a red hoodie and falling on the ground may be responsible for the shooting.
Police believe the suspect ran down Kingsbridge Road toward Sedgwick Avenue. That was the last time he was seen.
Investigators say a motive for the shooting is still unclear. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
